Data health check

Solvency II guidance makes it very clear that data is at the centre of all core compliance requirements. Data feeds all aspects of an insurance company’s operations, and the transparency and traceability of this data is core to ensuring consistency and integrity of reported information both internally and externally.

Moore Stephens' experienced senior insurance consultants have developed the data health check – a comprehensive, independent review system for key data related aspects of Solvency II.

We offer a one to two day consultation to discuss the specific nature of your business and to explain our unique methodologies. The data health check involves a series of interactive workshops with the data producers and consumers within your business to understand the use of data and comment on its control.

We provide an independent assessment of the completeness, accuracy, appropriateness and materiality of all core data flows. A report is delivered including heat map diagrams of core findings with agreed scoring. These easily identify and highlight areas of weakness and we propose changes to rectify the position.
